Senior Technical Lead and Principal Consultant for technical operations, including networking, infrastructure, and managed services in support of member schools of Butler, Preble, Warren, as well as client districts in Clinton, Hamilton, and Clermont (Ohio) Counties. Areas of expertise include network operations, web content filtering, high availability network and systems, instructional improvement systems, student information system management, and new service offerings for member and client districts. Serve on several state-wide steering committee for K-12 technical policy, budget allocation, and student assessment projects. CTO function was split between two parallel positions to create my position.

Professor – Information Technology & Business (9/2009 – Present)

Teaching in Business, Health Care Management, and Information Technology at Associates, Bachelors, and Master’s level. Created and revised syllabi and developed teaching models involving peer-to-peer engagement to foster collaborative teaching of traditional and adult college students. Encouraged and achieved a high degree of student involvement thru presentation and discussion of relevant issues, interactive and energetic teaching style, and structured lab environments taken from real world examples. Consistently received the highest student rankings and student achievement scores within department.

Coordinator of Technology Services (12/2009 – 07/2013)

Milford Exempted Village School District Milford, OH

Lead Technology operations and Educational Integration for 6,500 students and 800 staff across multiple locations. Specialties include network, technical and instructional support, learning management systems, online course delivery, and operational effectiveness. Oversaw $1.1m technical deployment of classroom and teaching technologies for new construction project. Deployed centralized Video over IP streaming solution. Piloted district wide Video Conferencing solution and streamed online learning. Deployed centralized district wide LMS, consolidating from 6 disparate platforms. Developed and managed system wide technology budgets. Actively collaborates with instructional and administrative staff to deliver the best possible classroom and online learning experience. Increased Support team capacity by 85% with no increase in costs. Originally hired as Network Manager and promoted to department head in July 2011.

Vice President of Information Technology (3/2008 – 7/2009)

CFM Religion Publishing Group Cincinnati, OH

Lead revitalization and reimplementation project of failed enterprise wide ERP, integrating disparate shipping, fulfillment, and web delivery systems. Implemented business process improvements resulting in a 20% labor savings in one department. Reorganized multiple technology departments into centralized shared services model. Managed staff and IT budgets for all locations and divisions. Conceptualized, designed and implemented CRM integrated centralized reporting repository credited with a 16% increase in net sales volume. Lead efforts to migrate from traditional publishing model to digital curriculum delivery. Contracted adviser from March 2008 to June 2008, then hired in June 2008 to implement recommendations.

Manager of Information Technology (11/2000 – 6/2008)

Facilitated team transition to full service ITIL based department supporting 47 physicians and 370+ staff members across 22 locations. Adopting PMP based project management office, delivered multiple projects on time and on budget, including $2.0m Data Center renovation and mission critical application deployment. Projects include: Turnkey EMR Deployment, PMS migration and deployment, centralized dashboard Business Intelligence and MDSS solution (credited with $1.7m in recovered revenue).

Technical Support Supervisor & Interactive Media Specialist (10/1997 – 11/2000)

Advising client teams on integrating digital media supporting traditional media driven campaigns. Designed and implemented campaign effectiveness tools to maximize client’s return on investment. Project Manager and LAN/WAN administrator for 200+ node interstate network, supporting 200 users in a hybrid environment across 7 locations. Responsible for IT operations budget and supervision of Technical Support staff. Implemented performance measurements for IT staff, network reliability, and system recovery, and improved system reliability more than 20%.
